Dub Trio prepare to take “IV” on the road

BROOKLYN BAND’S UPCOMING ALBUM, IV,
SET FOR OCT. 25 RELEASE ON ROIR

NEW YORK, Sept. 13, 2011 — Dub Trio, the New York-trio who effortlessly blend dub, metal and punk, venture out on their first North American tour in three years this November with a tour kick off on Nov. 3 in Rochester and several stops on the Hawaiian Islands.

The band, who recently announced a return to their original label home of ROIR, have spent the past few years as annexed band members by first Mike Patton for his Peeping Tom project and then the next two years working with Matisyahu.  Dub Trio band members D.P. Holmes (guitar), Stu Brooks (bass) and Joe Tomino (drums) have long been sought out as session players having worked with a wide range of artists including Lady Gaga, Macy Gray, 50 Cent, Yoko Ono, Mos Def and many others.
