Our very own A&R guy, Mr. Nick Cooper was featured in this month’s Music Connection magazine! Read his takes on ROIR’s past, present and future here (skip to page 23).
Our boys Dub Trio backed Matisyahu for 2 shows at the recent Vancouver Winter Olympics. If you weren’t lucky enough to make it to Van City, check out this vid to get in on the action. They even open it with some Dub Trio jams!
Dub Trio are backing Matisyahu in Australia and South America next month (lucky them!) Tour dates on their Myspace.

23. “Too Many Creeps,” Bush Tetras, 1980
It’s natural, after living in an urban environment for a while, to begin to loathe humanity. These jaded, stylish post-punk babes wrote the ultimate angular anthem to blast as you hightail it upstate for a weekend spent with nobody.
Watch the video for “Too Many Creeps” below. You can find both the video and the song on the Bush Tetra’s latest album, Very Very Happy.
For the month of March, our New York Dolls album, Lipstick Killers, is $5 on Amazon MP3!
About Lipstick Killers:
This archive tape re-writes history. The Dolls, with original drummer Billy Murcia, were only four and a half months old when these nine tracks were cut in a Manhattan studio one night during the summer of 1972. “Lipstick Killers” captures the nascent Dolls at a fascinating and yet vulnerable juncture. Sylvain Sylvain and Johnny Thunders’ guitars perform a six-string demolition derby and big mouth David Johansen barks like an angry wounded dog. “Killer” Kane and Murcia beat the songs into a bloody pulp.”- David Fricke, Melody Maker
